What is the root location for my Primary Domain and Add-On domains to upload files?

1. The root location for your Primary Domain is “public_html”. Files associated with your Primary Domain should be uploaded within “public_html” folder.

2. When you add any “add-on” domain, a folder with that domain name would be created under“public_html”. For example, if you add a domain “mydomain.com” then a folder with that domain name would be created under “public_html”. Its location would be like “public_html/mydomain.com”. So, any files associated with that domain should be uploaded under “public_html/mydomain.com”.

3. When you add Sub-Domain, a folder associated with that sub domain would be created within “public_html”.

Note: The folder name would be only the sub name you have provided.

For example, if you add a sub domain “test.mydomain.com” then a folder with name “test” would be created under “public_html”. Its location would be like “public_html/test”. So, any files associated with that sub domain should be uploaded under “public_html/test”.

Note: If you have made any changes to the location or folder name while trying to add the “add-on domains” or “Sub domains” then you need to consider that location to upload files.
