How to change the outgoing mail (SMTP) port in Outlook Express

 This tutorial will show you how to change outgoing mail port in Outlook Express

1. On the menu bar, click “Tools” and go to “Accounts”.

2. Click the “Mail” tab.

3. Select your domain’s email account from the list. Click the “Properties” button.

4. Make sure that the “Include this account when receiving mail or synchronizing” box is checked. If it is not, check it.

5. Click the “Servers” tab. Locate the “Settings” button below “Outgoing Mail Server”. Click the “Settings” button.

6. Click the “Servers” tab. Locate the “Settings” button below “Outgoing Mail Server”. Click the “Settings” button..

7. Make sure the “My SMTP server requires authentication” box is checked. If it is not, check it.

8. Make sure the “My SMTP server requires authentication” box is checked. If it is not, check it.

9. Restart Outlook Express
