I personally had a little problem with one of my domains names, with my expertise in the area (little to none). They helped me find a solution to the problem I was having. The representative stayed with me and actually helped me rather than "passing the buck" and sending me on my disgruntled way. It took a total of almost an hour for me to actually explain what was going on (because I didnt know really how to describe the problem properly). But he stayed with me and we figured it out together. Seems to me this is very unique in our world today, people dont care if your happy, they dont want to help you fix your problem and as long as it doesnt effect them they just dont care.

I'm very impressed with this hosting company so far. The hosting is extremely reasonably priced but the service is the best I've had -- and I host some sites on much more expensive servers.

Their control panel gives you a remarkable amount of flexibility for setting up your site. I've used liveHelp twice for some rare customization requests and found their support staff to be refreshingly coldfusion - savvy.

If their hosting product continues to exceed my expectations, as it has been doing, I will be moving all my sites to them.

I've had quite a few problems when your server crashed a few times and my website got messed up. A lot of communication problem with tech support with some people and took me 4 days of chatting to get my point acrossed to get the appropriate action to get my site up.

But it seems that you have some new tech staff and it is getting better. I have found that Peter and Yudi are very helpful and can always take care of my problems. I still recommend your service to everyone I know that needs web hosting. I will continue to recommend your services. Thanks to Peter and Yudi I am a happy customer and can refer new ones. I think Peter and Yudi deserve some praise and compensation.

I just contacted their tech support department regarding a problem I was having with some .Net components. Through their live chat I was talking to a rep by the name of Peter. Let me say the guy was GREATTTTTTTTTTT, very helpful, polite in helping although he couldn't help me fix the problem right away because their system administrator has to take care of it, but I had tons of other questions about the service and my domain set up to which he promptly answered, half way trough the chatting he has helped with setting so many things with my account that I forgot what my original problem was, in short while I'm waiting for the System Administror to contact me about the .net components that I need, Perter help me with Domain settings, MailBox settings and so on and so forth, this is only the second time that I've contacted the Tech support department and they easily get a 9 out of 10 rating from me for both times.

The pricing structure is great. I have used other H-Sphere suppliers and the mass of variables makes it a nightmare. Sadly, I never received a response from the only two tickets I sent during the reseller setup. However, on another attempt using the chat feature I eventually did get a response (Peter) and his help was excellent. The downloaded manual (I chose the html version as the pdf link failed) is very good. I am looking forward to slowly bringing my clients sites across to Host Department.

I think Peter went above and beyond the call of duty in helping me redirect my files. It has taken the whole day to resolve my particular problem.

I am not sure how I feel about online help, as initially, I think a phone call would have been shorter and resulted in less conflicts of communication. I think the techs have their own language, and I as an end user sometimes feel lost. They are all very helpful, Peter particularly.

They have all felt that they were clear communicators, however I felt less confident that I was on the "same page" on several occassions. I say this not to place blame, but to emphasise, that sometimes a phone call is more time/cost effective.

Peter was wonderful, I simply feel that if I were able to get on the phone from the get go, it would not have resulted in the situation that created such a difficult and time consuming problem to resolve.

Having FAQ's for certain things like uploading and deleting files with instructions can also help save some techs time.

The techs are all interested in helping, and that is wonderful. I definately feel as if i made a friend.

Great price, *almost* always available customer service online, minimal downtime. A few more problems than I would've like to have seen with ASPX and frontpage extentions, but they were always more than willing to help. Great service so far.

I identified a problem to them with PHP 4.3.0 preinstalled with GD and errors with differnet functions on a windows box. They went out of their way to register a custom CFX tag to give ColdFusion similar functionality. Over all extreemly helpful online help.

i dont test their speed yet but i can be sure they are the best.
they are ready to help you any times,

On performance, I rarely get advance notice of downtime. There has been some. sometimes the site seems to run slow. I LOVE having the live chat support and everyone has been helpful. There was the problem with the attack on my domain that I never received any information back on.

I recommend the site to my clients.

I am extremely impressed by the workings of Yudi. Not only did Yudi help me with some programming and permission issues I had with a php program I'm running on my site, Yudi checked everything for me, traced code, and fixed all the problems I had. Host Department is truly blessed to have Yudi on the support staff, and I would recommend Yudi as a tech rep to anyone!!! I've even given Yudi the spotlight on my main page at http://www.jointcognation.com. I will never forget this experience, as my dealings with other reps were not productive at all, and some were downright rude.

Let it be known that Yudi is a friend of the Joint Cognation staff, website, and members. THANKS YUDI!!!

I honestly havn't found a web hosting company before yours with such responsive support and such cheap prices!I would love to host sites with you for as long as i am around developing web pages, and would reccomend your company greatly to friends, family and clients who are looking for a hosting solution.

I have had many problems getting responses from Tech Support just using trouble tickets (48 hours and still no response). I have also had problems trying to use your live Online Help system (I haven't been able to reach anyone the past few days). After finally getting someone online today, it was great. The tech support rep was very helpful and answered all of my questions.

The control panel and the online doc, when it comes to very special settings, it's a bit confusing, but the "live help" (chat) is always available (but on Sundays, I think) and the technicians really help you. You get a really great number of features for a very little price, and I've never found my server slow/unresponsive. In two words: gerat service! You get more than expected for the money. I had my site up and running in a very short time. BTW, I'm still working it. And another advantage of the service is that, even in the cheapest modality, you can host more than one domain (with its own name, email accounts, etc.)
