A GREAT value. VERY polite people working here, VERY responsive. I am quite satisfied. Providing most things that any knowledgable developers would use. SWL Server 2000 and plenty more... they are meeting my needs, and I would encourage anyone who wants a decent service at a good value to join up with these guys.

Yudi was a tremendous help - AGAIN, as would be expected I guess, he always is. honestly whenever I log on for any one of my ten or twelve accounts I have with you guys, and yudi comes on, I know my problems will be solved quickly and easily. yudi is always friendly and helpful, courteous and polite, and extremely patient, which is a necessity with me sometimes, and a GREAT asset to your support team. Every time i've had to contact your live help people they have been extremely patient with me, They have gone out of there way to help and make me understand what i'm doing wrong.
A special thanks to Peter on the live help, this poor guy has had to deal with my lack of understanding on more than one occassion.
And has allways been very helpfull.

When I first set up my account, one of the servers was experiencing some problems, which probably caused the excessive delay in response from the support team. Between that and some dificulties initially accessing my site, I was a little disappointed with the quality of service at first.

However, today was a completely diferent story. I had a question about virtual hosts, and a CMS program left a folder on my site inaccessable. The customer support person, Yudi, was quick to respond. He was able to answer my question and resolve my problem in a timely and professional manner.

I was dealing with Ivan who did fix the problem. There was an instance where I was suggesting he e-mail an alternate address (which turned out to be the solution we went with) and his response seemed antogonistic. Tone is impossible to tell, but the language suggested an inappopriate attitude.

Overall, I am happy as my problem has been fixed for now.

I'm a Host Department customer for a year now. In the begining I experianced long down times but in the last few monthes since their server upgrade that are wonderful. Everything is fast and no downtimes at all! I'm very pleased.

Their support team is avilable at all times which is wonderful, but the adminstartors are not always there, sometimes I need to wait quite some time to get my problems fixed. But the support is as helpful as they can and in the end they always solve my probelms.

The only negative item thus far would have to be shared with my ISP and your company. Our church will be using the domain and we need multiple email addresses. We also wanted to safeguard our church members personal email addresses by using the domains to send and receive email. It has only now (after I subscribed) come to our attention that we cannot do that unless we use the SMTP-Auth procedure to send mail. Since my ISP (as well as many other peoples ISP's from the church) blocks SMTP from their servers we are losing out on this feature of your service.

Other than this small irritation, I am well pleased with the service and support this far.

I have been with HostDepartment for approximately 8 months and this is the first time I would not give them a 5 star rating.

I don't always expect everything to be perfect. But for the last 2 or 3 days, I have had constant problems with email, ftp and my website.

I tried contacting tech support in the evenings, but to no avail. I had to do it at work. After speaking with someone, they were able to resolve most of my issues.

Hostdepartment.com did have some information about server related problems. So I was aware of it. But it should not have taken me almost 3 days to contact someone via live support to get some of my issues resolved. And, it would have been nice to get some kind of email notification about the server related issues and the possibility that it might affect my account.

With the exception of this most recent issue, I have been very happy with Hostdepartment.

Haven't set up the hosting yet. Still working on the site. However, I did have some problems redirecting my URL...but got Yudi on the IM and he (or she) was great. Walked me through step by step.

I registered through host department at the recommendation of my friends. I will use your hosting when the site is ready for launch, and I'll be sure to pass your name along to others.

My experience has been good up until the beginning of the new year (2004). Usually an excellent host. Most of the time pretty good live help.

For the last few days my site seems to be down almost everytime I check in. This is bad, but what makes it worse is that there is never any advance warning, (at least none that I am aware of). When I try to use live chat to communicate about the downtime, it seems that I am not getting good communication about the problem. Or whetherthe situation will ever improve. If the situation does not improve soon, I will be seeking other options.

Excellent start... but very unfortunate performance all the way around lately.

Ivan was a great help, as usual, and Yudi helpe dme the other day and was tremendously helpful. Com to think of it, I haven't had a bad experience yet. Kudos to your entire staff, give everybody a raise.

As a web designer and I maintain many sites. I have been doing web design and maintenance since 1996 and have expirence with many providers. Host Department is my BEST expirence yet. I am moving ALL of my clients to Host Department. I give Host Department my highest rating of all the providers that I know.

The GUI admin panel is without a doubt the most intuitive and fully functional control panel I have ever used. I am able to control every aspect of all six sites I have hosted. This is the best host I have ever used!

Host Department has gotta be one of the best around! Their online help is unique and has helped me out of jams quite a few times. For example, when I was attempting to start up a forum using a database, I was having some problems. I chatted with the technical staff live, and they even helped me install my forum! Talk about service.

In my book, HostDepartment is highly recommened. A++++

I had a problem with connecting cold fusion to the microsoft database, but Yudi helped me through the configuration process step-by-step. Within minutes, it works like a charm. I really like the live chat, especially when it's available the day after Christmas. I wasn't expecting a live chat until after New Year. Thank you so much. Thomas.

I host many accounts for my clients here. Servers are faster than in many other places and pretty much up and running all the time. Because I have lots of accounts, naturally I often need to solve some issues, but technical support is always available. According to my experience, the most professional support is provided by Peter, who is in my view the most knowledgeble and helpful of all.
