We dont have expensive offices downtown with gorgeous glass fronts and marble floors. Our desks are not oak, we dont sit on $1200 Aeron chairs. We dont have a 40,000 square foot data center. We are a profitable, privately held company that has a bright future. Were not bleeding red ink, and were not funded by glassy eyed venture capitalists. We are growing, at an astounding rate, currently we host over 7500 web sites and have over 2500 customers. At our current rate of growth were adding over 300 customers per month. Dixie Systems is here to stay, and were proof you can do it, do it right, and do it for a cost thats reasonable. Our network: Our servers are colocated in a small, Atlanta data center which has redundant connections to more than 3 inter net backbones. Included in the mix is Above net, Williams, Aleron, and a new backbone is currently being installed. Our uptime approaches 100\% and the DV2 network is fast. Our Servers: We build them ourselves, weve built PCs and servers for a long time, and we use only the best equipment. From our rackmount cases with 300 watt power supplies to our mirrored harddrives, we pick every part out ourselves and then build them by hand. Then we install the Redhat OS and the Ensim Webppliance control panel. That means our servers are solid and we know them inside and out. Our Support: All of our plans come with 24 hour tech support. Whether by email, helpdesk, customer forums, ICQ, or toll net/" class="nocolorlink">free phone number, someone is on the job 24 hours 7 days a week to make sure our servers are up, running, and things are going smoothly. If you have any concerns, contact us. Our Guarantee: Starting on January 1, 2003 we changed our prices and began offering a GUARANTEED uptime on all of our new web hosting plans. If we fail you, you get money back. For every .1\% uptime that we miss our 99.5\% goal, you get a 10\% refund for that month, to a maximum of 50\%, if the uptime falls below 98\% then you get 100\% of your money back. Uptime is measured by www. websitepulse.com on a monthly basis and is tested every 5 minutes. Scheduled maintenance does not fall under the SLA, scheduled maintenance is downtime that is scheduled at least 1 week in advance by Dixie Systems on our servers, or network maintenance performed by the data center with at least 3 days notice. We will email the address listed in your account information about any scheduled downtimes at least 1 week in advance if Dixie Systems is scheduling the downtime, and as soon as we get the notice, if the data center is planning it, and well also post this information in our forums. Unannounced maintenance falls under emergency maintenance and is covered by the SLA. Uptime guarantees are not extended to our normal reseller plans.
