I have a very good experience with setting of my new account...,and in doing so have encountered a few problems..., but with the excellent tutilage of Isaac & Elizar from the online chat tech support, we got the site up and running in very little time, they were great!!! |

I've dealt with half a dozen (at least) hosting providers over the last 7 years and I've NEVER seen a value like Host Department. Disregarding the fact that I'm only paying $4/mo, their services, tech support, administration options, hosting plans, add-ons, ease and speed of sign-up, and features are even superior to my previous $29/mo plans! So far so very good! |

This company is well organised and well set up to deliver an excellent overall service. Control Panel functionality is superb, documentation is good, and live chat facility is mandatory if you don't live in the U.S. The only problem I had was setting up an active scripted (ASP) error page. Control panel can't do it (at this stage) and live chat support people didn't help. But I finally got onto a system administrator who set it up for me personally and explained that the next version of control panel will support it. All in all, a superb service, well worth the money, and highly recommended. |

Hsphere is about the best web hosting control panel. Hostdepartment offers a lot for so little money. Online chat support is very good. He took his time to help me resolve a coding issue, impressive. Best of all, I get ssh access which is really rare these days. |

Fantastic Service, though a little slow to respond to email support - Live Chat is prompt though. Anyone from the UK looking for a host - use Host Department, you get
loads of extras you usually pay through the nose for - CGI, ASP etc I am a webdesigner who needs a reliable service, Host Department delivers!!! One moan - no co.uk domain names can be bought here, although transfers can be made. Well done Host Department BG |

Tech support generally good for users. For the resellers they probably need to get a bit more experience and training. Ivan looks like the first one who was able to solve my problem. Others did not impress me that much, hope that will change with time. |

HostDepartment is an amazing company with excellent customer service technicians. I have had to use the live, online support a few times, but not because setting up our account was difficult. In fact, it was too easy! The last time I setup a website, there were tons of settings to search for and adjust...and setting up our site with HostDepartment was so easy that I called a few times to make sure I wasn't leaving anything out. In those cases where you need assistance, you will not be let down! I want to give special thanks to Ivan, a member of thier technical support staff...he is great and very patient with my questions...and I have had more than a few. Thank you HostDepartment! |

Getting started was pretty easy, once I read through the pdf guide. The prices are great and the tech support people are very good. My only problem is no phone support, only online chat. Many people will be fine with that, but at times it is nice to talk to a person. |

very pleased with my package so far, site speed is also very good. I would like to upload some streaming movies to my site (home movies, they are legal) so I might get worried about the 3GB/month traffic limit, but we see how that goes once I get round to recording the videos.. overall, very happy, recommending them to friends! |

I was a bit hesitant to go with a hosting service for under $50.00 per year (especially since we had received quotes that went from $180.00 upwards for equivalent service and features), but as a non-profit organzation, we needed to keep costs low and so it was worth a try. The experience has been exceptional. We had no trouble getting things up and running; they understood the issues around database maintenance and got us off on the right foot immediately; their customer support has provided useful information on the first go round; and overall, I am very impressed with the quality of service we have received. Given the excellent website response times, it's hard for me to find
anything wrong with this company. I wish all my business dealings went
so well. |
